Ha ha…I don’t quite mean the “Birds and Bees” for this week’s Amusing Challenge – how about birds and/or bees?!? Throughout the month I have different sorts of challenges…”use it”, themes, sketch, etc. I will have a Weekly Winner and at the end of the month, those 4-5 winners will go into a prize drawing for one lucky Grand Prize winner. May’s Prize Winner will receive a package of 100 Forget Me Not paper flowers from A Muse Studio. They are being retired and have sold out so this is the only way to get a package of them! To check out the Retirement Sale (we’re now at 50% off and a few favorite sets are sold out!) visit my website.
This week starts vacation for several of my design team members so I’m going to share two neat creations I saw pop up from the A Muse Studio designers and these were favors at the recent A Muse Studio National Convention. They would be so fun at a summer party and they feature some new cardstock that is coming out and the Candy Wrapper die that was very popular as a Monthly Collection.
amuse studio supplies: Bee Happy stamp set, Candy Wrapper die (coming in June), Honeycomb cardstock (coming in June!)
Here is a card also featuring the new honeycomb pattern and the Bee Happy stamp set from A Muse Studio – also part of the make n takes at Nat Con. Love the idea of repeatedly stamping a word for a homemade background.
amuse studio supplies: Bee Happy stamp set, Hey Cupcake stamp set, Onyx Petite Polka dot/Kraft cardstock, Honeycomb cardstock (coming in June), Halloween Washi tape collection
I had time to whip out a quick card to share with you featuring two retiring A Muse Studio stamps: You’re Too Kind and Just Because. I was a little pressed for time so this “sloppy” random watercoloring with Splash was a fun way to quickly color this bird. It was so easy and I really think you can’t go wrong…
amuse studio supplies: You’re Too Kind stamp set (retiring), Just Because stamp set (retiring), Buttercup/Wheat cardstock, watercolor paper, Papaya, Blush, Cherry and Slate splash
PS. Don’t forget you can still enter the current Amusing Challenge which is a feminine theme as we celebrated Mother’s Day! You can find it here.
