Amusing Challenge – Back to School

amuse studio

On Friday we dropped my daughter off for her second year at college – my son is lucky to be at home yet until Sep 8 but I know many school districts have already started!  This week at  Amusing Challenge we’re going to be featuring Back to School!  You focus can be on kids or the wonderful teachers who try hard everyday in the classroom.   Throughout the month I have different sorts of challenges…”use it”, themes, sketch, etc.  I will have a Weekly Winner and at the end of the month, those 4-5 winners will go into a prize drawing for one lucky Grand Prize winner.  August’s winner will receive a package of A Muse Studio’s Sweetheart sequin mix.

Cyndi said she didn’t have any “real” school themed stamps but she thought the Wonderful Windows stamp set from A Muse Studio’s previous Monthly Collections reminded her of a school building.  They do!!  I love her little card and how she hand wrote on the A Muse Studio School Lined cardstock – definately a school themed item there!  She colored her images with colored pencils and fussy cut the bike from amuse studio’s Basket Case.

I found some really cute little chalkboards in the Target $1 section although these were $3 (still not bad for 3 little boards).  I found that they embossed nicely with A Muse Studio’s white embossing powder and I used the stamp set School Supplies…my photo is blurry, not the embossing!  🙂
