Amusing Challenge – Anything Goes!

Welcome to this week’s Amusing Challenge — it’s an Anything Goes challenge so that makes it super easy to play along!  I hope you will join us.  🙂  Throughout the month I have different sorts of challenges…”use it”, themes, sketch, etc.  I will have a Weekly Winner and at the end of the month, those 4-5 winners will go into a prize drawing for one lucky Grand Prize winner.   October’s prize winner will receive a one sheet sampler of the Full Moon cardstock collection in the October Monthly Collection:

My brother in law is celebrating his 60th birthday this week and so I needed to whip out a quick birthday card!  He’s an architect and I thought the Tim Holtz styled stamps would be appropriate but all the rest of the supplies are amuse studio.  I love all the stitched dies from A Muse Studio…

In keeping with the birthday theme, here is a fun twist on a card sample from the catalog using Birthday Icons and Snow Day Background.  The latter makes for a fun, confetti type background!

It’s a super CAS card but still filled with lots of wonderful details!

I finally sent out some thank you notes from my vendor fair booth sales at the Scraps Marketplace.  I used Our Town from A Muse Studio… I just love that it has a little stamp store.  🙂  They are super simple but I think they are cute!  I will also be mailing my thank you notes this week for those of you who supported A Muse Studio’s Stamp Out Breast Cancer campaign!

  1. Chris, you could have used Splash for the Birthday card background! 😉 Thanks for the idea of using the snowy day background stamp (which I have), to create a faux Splash background . . . you know I’m still not a Splash gal. I really like how you used two different colors as the background. I’ve been using white on blue cardstock.
