Amusing Challenge – anything goes

amuse studio

sigh…it’s already the last week of the month…and almost the last month of the year!  It leaves me scratching my head in bewilderment as to how fast time flies.  That does mean that this week’s Amusing Challenge is anything goes.  Throughout the month I have different sorts of challenges…”use it”, themes, sketch, etc.  I will have a Weekly Winner and at the end of the month, those 4-5 winners will go into a prize drawing for one lucky Grand Prize winner.   November’s prize winner will receive one of my favorite a•muse|studio dies for the holidays – this small stocking die (works great for tags, project life and cardmaking!)

If you are just stopping by here for the first time, welcome!  I have just kicked off my free Christmas tutorial series and it’s not too late to sign up and Amuse Studio has a wonderful Black Friday sale going on all week long – while supplies last but the sales are 50% or more!

By now you may be groaning about my use (or over use?) of Amuse Studio’s Hello Deer set from their November Collection but I am having way too much fun to stop now!  This card was inspired by a coffee mug I spotted over at Tuesday Mornings and I couldn’t wait to get home and start embossing!

Another fun item in Amuse Studio’s November Collection is their felt assortment.  I picked up this mug from the Dollar Store and added a little holiday “bling” to it.  The Gingerbread tag die from the Holiday catalog cuts through the felt beautifully.  It is also super cute for making tags!

Shaker cards are all the rage these days and it’s no wonder with the new Fuse tool that makes it a breeze!  Amuse Studio also carries the Fuse Tool (you can get one pratically for free if you hostess a party!) so I have been playing with it.  The Treescapes die set from the Amuse Studio November Collection is the perfect back drop for my snowy scene – it was “snow” much fun to use a variety of sequins….tee hee….
