Quick! I need a baby card
It’s so exciting! Our neighbors had a baby boy this past weekend. It caught me by surprise because they have two adorable girls and I just “expected” the baby to be another girl…dumb, I know! When we were expecting, we waited to see what sex the baby would be (ended up with one of each). How about you? Did you wait to be surprised or did you like knowing up front so you could be prepared and plan accordingly?
What stamping supplies do I need to make this?
I made this clean and simple (CAS) card last night using Amuse Studio’s retired, I’m Here stamp set. This is such a great all around baby set and it was in amuse studio’s Clearance Sale section. Sadly, when I went to check on it this morning, it’s all sold out! Still, there are some other good deals that you should check out before you miss out.
This handmade baby card required no coloring – just some quick cutting. One fun detail is that I embossed my Sky cardstock with a Fiskars texture plate and then sanded it. That is one of the many reasons why I love Amuse Studio’s cardstock and if you haven’t checked it out, you should! It’s white on one side and embosses and sands beautifully for a whole new look. So, even though the I’m Here stamp set is sold out, we do have a sweet, new baby set, Bundle of Joy, in the Amuse Studio catalog!
