Yum!! It’s National Popcorn Day – what a great excuse to indulge in one of my favorite snacks!
Homemade Popcorn Boxes
It’s super easy to make your own DIY popcorn containers with Amuse Studio dies. We carry the Berry Box die (featured on the left) and when assembled, it measures 2 1/2 inches tall by 3 inches wide. I tucked some white parchment paper inside each box to keep the paper clean and it gives a nice finished look. Amuse Studio also carries two Popcorn Box dies. One is super mini and at 1 1/2 inches tall is probably better for a few Hershey nuggets! The Amuse Studio Short Popcorn die is featured on the right and it measures 2 1/4 inches tall by 2 3/4 inches wide.

What about Popcorn Recipes?
One of my favorite go-to popcorn recipes is to pop 2 bags of microwave popcorn (buttered, light, whatever your preference) and to melt one bag of chocolate //ws-na.amazon-adsystem.com/widgets/q?ServiceVersion=20070822&OneJS=1&Operation=GetAdHtml&MarketPlace=US&source=ac&ref=qf_sp_asin_til&ad_type=product_link&tracking_id=blesink-20&marketplace=amazon®ion=US&placement=B0061TXQZ0&asins=B0061TXQZ0&linkId=CGNZEDIDRQGE6XT4&show_border=true&link_opens_in_new_window=true” target=”_blank”>Candy Melts. Mix the two together in a very big bowl and then spread out over two cookie sheets to firm up. It’s so easy and soooooo good! 😉
If you have more exotic tastes or just like a lot of variety, I found this blog link over at Homemaking Hacks for 89 different popcorn recipes – yowsers.
It’s too late to get your amuse studio die for National Popcorn Day but it’s not too late to save 10% and be ready for next year! And, honestly, you will find so many great uses for these dies – especially the Berry Box die. Look at some of the fun homemade gift packaging you can do with it: Easter treats, add a handle for a different look, and a coffee lover’s treat basket!
