Our neighbors lost their pet last week and I can hardly believe that I knew Woody for 11 of his 20 years!  Sigh… I was lucky enough to watch over him on their short get- aways and always having been a cat lady at heart, I loved it!  He had a good life though and will be missed for sure.

cat stamps, Nine Lives, amuse studio

The Nine Lives stamp set from Amuse Studio is perfect for both sad and joyful occasions.  In fact, I just got it myself when my daughter adopted a kitten of her own.  The images are whimsical and fun and it has some great sentiments.  Here is a card I did that uses one of the sentiments without the cats.  And please don’t miss these tags using the Classic Tag die (also from amuse studio) and more of these kitties here.

What rubber stamping supplies do I need to make this card?

amuse studio supplies:

stamps:  Nine Lives

paper:  Squash, Orange Petite Pinstripe and Sugar cardstock

accessories:  Classic Tag die, French Roast 4 mm sequins, Vanilla twine, French Roast ink, Memento black ink, copic markers

  1. Sorry that your neighbors lost their kitty, always so sad, especially when he’s been around that long. I love the stamp set you used – haven’t seen this before – I make a lot of cat cards so it’s purrfect for me! Your card is adorable – simple and tasteful for this sad occasion.

    1. Thank you!! I know it makes me sad – reminds me of when my own cat passed away years ago now. Luckily we have a wonderful dog but I also am watching him getting older…sigh. Glad you like the card and stamp set!

  2. Sorry your neighbor’s cat passed. I’m a dog person and have had 2 dogs pass. Last one I thought would outlive me had to be put down early 2014 due to cancer of the tongue. I adopted/rescued the oldest dog at the shelter in Aug 2014. Daisy, a Lab/Retriever Mix, will be 9 this yr and I’m so glad I found her. When I was ready to have another dog I went to the shelter and walked her each day for a couple days and then after discussing her with my hubby & daughter brought her home. Have a BEE-utiful day!
