This week’s theme and monthly prize

Welcome and thank you for stopping by to check out my weekly rubberstamping card challenge!  It’s the last Sunday of the month and that means this week’s Amusing Challenge is Anything Goes.

Throughout the month I have different sorts of challenges…”use it”, themes, sketch, etc.  Based on reader input late last year, I will be changing up the way I award my monthly prize!  We’ll still have the Top 3 winners but now every participant that plays along will earn a chance to win the random drawing for my prize package at the end of the month.   This month’s prize is an assortment of Amuse Studio’s “Not Your Grandma’s” buttons!

Cyndi has done it again!  She took these sweet little gal from Amuse Studio’s Girlfriends stamp set and did some serious fussy cutting!  Normally she’s holding a puppy in her arms, but Cyndi managed to carefully cut and tuck in this bunny.  Cyndi did some more serious fussy cutting with that cute little chick as well…amazing.

So adorable, isn’t it?  And this bunny is from the same bunny die set I used last week!

This next card is practically a CASE of a card Kristine V (a fellow amuse studio consultant) recently made.  She has a great CAS style that I really admire and I love the delicate and feminine look of this card.  Isn’t it perfect for spring?!

For this next card, I combined a couple of different card ideas into one.   I love the primary colors of this card – it makes it a perfect masculine birthday card.  And, I think the scattering of dots makes it playful and fun.  It’s such an easy look to achieve by inking up Amuse Studio’s Snowy Day background stamp.  The key here is to rotate the stamp with the different colors so that they don’t line up on top of each other… 😉   How do I know?!?  yup, you guessed it!  I also used Tombow markers to ink up the candles and cherries for this OMG Cake stamp set.  It’s part of Amuse Studio’s March Collection so it’s around for just a few more days!

  1. Like the fussy cutting. Especially like the bunny tail. Like the doily for texture. Like the dotted background that complements the bday card wonderfully. Have a Happy & BEE-utiful Easter!
