Here is one of the cards we made last week at my Hostess Club get together. April was the last time we’re getting together before we take a summer break, but I promised everyone that we’d have some card making sessions scattered in there. We all really enjoy getting together for the social and crafting part – I’m lucky to know these folks!
For this CAS card, Botanical Silhouettes draws all the attention despite my vellum butterfly and bright Apple cardstock sentiment. The Marshmallow Splash creates a nice backdrop for the soft image…I LOVE the way this card turned out. This stamp set is part of Amuse Studio’s April Collection.
What rubber stamping supplies do I need to make this card?
I used Tombow markers and colored directly onto my stamp – misting it lightly before stamping once and then a second time without reinking. You can’t go wrong with this look! Some of the ladies reinked each time – others didn’t mist – either way, the results were stunning. I did sponge the edges of my Stitched Circle die cut with Toffee ink and it made the focal point even softer and dreamier.
