Amusing Challenge – Masculine

This week’s theme and monthly prize

In honor of Father’s Day, show us your Masculine cards/projects for this week’s Amusing Challenge!

Throughout the month I have different sorts of challenges…”use it”, themes, sketch, etc.  Based on reader input late last year, I will be changing up the way I award my monthly prize!  We’ll still have the Top 3 winners but now every participant that plays along (and LINKS BACK to the challenge) will earn a chance to win the random drawing for my prize package at the end of the month.  Amuse Studio carries the most wonderful smaller (3.5 inches) sized doilies…I use them all the time and they seem to be on every one of my orders!  Now is your chance to win them to try them!

Design Team Inspiration

It’s been a busy weekend here in our household – my son’s High School graduation on Friday, husband’s birthday on Saturday and now Father’s Day on Sunday plus my inlaws are visiting so I had to make sure the Father’s Day card for my FIL was extra nice.  He loves sailing and so I dug out this old TAC (The Angel Company) stamp I had and watercolored it with Peerless Watercolor paints I bought with my hostess reward $$ from Amuse Studio.  I also mounted it on Blueberry amuse studio cardstock which might be my all time favorite blue!

Several families have been very generous for my son’s graduation and so today I whipped out some masculine looking thank you cards for him to write.  I used his school colors and the Polka Dot Patterns stamp set from Amuse Studio.  This is one of the stamp sets that will be retired after July.  😦

It’s simple to play along:

  • no digis please!

  1. Chris, your FIL case is absolutely stunning!!!! It would also work for a sympathy card with the Henry Van Dyke saying about death (basically it’s a new horizon and when we say “she’s gone” someone else on the other side is saying “she’s here.”). I just went to the graveside service of our former church secretary (98 y.o.) and the Van Dyke quote about “gone from sight” was on the back of the bulletin.
