This week’s theme and monthly prize

It’s just a few more days until Halloween here in the US so it’s only fitting that is our theme for this week’s Amusing Challenge.   Please share any stamped project you are working on this week – please no digital images.  What’s even better is that Amuse Studio announced a Halloween Clearance sale on all current and retired Halloween stamp sets – plus there are Splash inks, buttons, sequins and ribbons on sale as well as matching dies!  Everything you see featured here today is at least 30% off – sometimes more…

Throughout the month I have different sorts of challenges…”use it”, themes, sketch, etc.  There are weekly Top 3 winners and a random winner from all of the participants receives the monthly prize drawing.  October’s winner will receive this featured stamp set from Amuse Studio, Fight Like a Girl, from me for free.  If you don’t want to wait – you can order your free set for just $3 shipping/handling here.  {You will also find a free calendar and digi kit download there too!}

This Week’s Inspiration

Cyndi stopped by my house this week and hand carried her handmade Halloween card for this week’s challenge.  Once again, I was floored by the labor of love her cards are.  All of these cute little trick or treaters from amuse studio’s Costume Parade were colored with copics and then fussy cut (psst!  There is a matching die and it’s on sale now too!).  I loved the sparkly embossed bats and those googly eyes.  I think the sentiment from Spooky Boo Day is perfect!

When Juliet sent me this card, she didn’t really care for it and said she was lacking “mojo”.  I absolutely LOVE it – that pop of yellow with the black and white is so striking.  I’m so glad she shared it with me and it really shows off two retired amuse studio Halloween sets – Nevermore and Mister Bones.  This Amuse Studio clearance sale is really a must see!  Nevermore once retailed at $32.99 and is now slashed to just $11.55.  If you are an Edgar Allen Poe or vintage fan, it’s a must have.  At just $5.60, Mister Bones is destined for my home…it has some great sentiments and I can see some cards in my daughter’s future as she studies for the MCATs!

Here is my “big” reveal from my Do You Believe in Magic sneak peek post last week.  I have the details there on how I created this orange panel and you can really seek the sparkle of my black cat.  I love how the Diamond embossing powder works on Amuse Studio’s pigment inks.  These tiny star sequins are part of the amuse studio October Collection and are perfect for many occasions.  I finished the card off with some washi tape and scraps of paper.  I love that even the current Halloween stamp sets are on sale and if you order right away – you should have them in time for Halloween!
