This Week’s Inspiration

This is what waited for me after work on Friday and it’s my CTMH starter kit, order of new catalogs (already in the mail to a few folks!  If you want a copy – I have an order button in my sidebar!) and my own first order using the $50 coupon from my Starter Kit.  I couldn’t wait to play with Hello, Winter and this card is enroute to my brother-in-law.  My sister and her family are avid cross country skiers so I was super excited when I saw this set.  It was easy to watercolor with tombow markers and the CTMH Holiday Expressions mini catalog gave me a great example for color ideas.

This card feature’s CTMH’s Stamp of the Month, Thoughtful Flowers.  I used a sentiment from Hello, Winter (partially stamped to fit on the tag) and turned it into a holiday card!  Thoughtful Flowers is a must have and you really can do so much with it – did you see my card using it for the Winter Coffee Lover’s Blog hop here?

  1. Happy CTMH mail. Bummed that the Winter City Scape digi cartridge is not avail anymore. Oh well, they say you snooze you lose and I snoozed/waited to long to order it.
    On a fun note, our house with the Christmas Snoopy & Woodstock outdoor decor took 2nd place 3rd yr in a row. Not sure who won 1st place but neighbor let us know we took 2nd place. No prize for 2nd but I’m cool with that since the winner has to host the next yr contest party.

    1. I’m bummed too! The thin snowflake dies are out of stock too…that shows I won’t wait too long on the next Expressions catalog – it’s also a great one!

      Congrats on 2nd place! I bet it looks super cute. I have put out one strand of “icicles” along the lower roof edge where I can reach with a step ladder. Too scared to go higher!

  2. Woo hoo! Love seeing those CTMH boxes on your doorstep and I’ll be excited to see what inspiration you have for us in the coming months. Your skiing card is sure to be a hit with your brother-in-law! Love the pop of yellow for the skis.
