This month’s theme and monthly prize
Anything Goes + a stamp
Mar 25 – April 1
Some how the groundhog managed to get it right this year when he predicted 6 more weeks of winter. We had some snow this past week and enjoyed some days off from school. Sadly, I did not get any stamping done. No fair!! But I am ready this weekend for a new Anything Goes heARTful stamping challenge! We’re a great place to get and share some card making ideas for your rubber stamped cards.
If this is your first visit here, there are normally weekly Top 3 winners and a random winner from all of the participants receives the monthly prize drawing. March’s prize winner will receive this sweat Easter basket stamp from CTMH – it’s just $2.95 if you don’t want to wait to see if you win it! 🙂
This Week’s Inspiration
Debi, from That Might Look Good on a Card, loves CTMH’s Chelsea Gardens papers as much as I do! She created a great background before layering on some intricate die cuts and finishing it off with a Happy Birthday sentiment. I’m having a birthday card workshop in my home next week so I’ve been keeping my eyes out for neat ideas – this one is so unique!

Cyndi has a lovely CAS card this week that is perfect for Easter. But, it didn’t start out that way! I can totally relate when Cyndi shared her “journey” of the card’s evolution with me. She wrote “I glittered the flowers, chick and butterfly. I started out doing a back ground with the flowers but it was too busy and the chick got lost so I took the various elements from the background that I started with, and created a much simpler card look that involved lots of fussy cutting the end!” This stamp set is called Easter Animals.

I have been on a search to create a birthday card workshop for next week and for some reason, I’ve been fixated on CTMH’s Many Congratulations stamp set. I guess the daffodils blooming in my yard have me thinking spring!! I was inspired by this card on Pinterest – and I don’t like mine as much as the original so I need to go back and work on it some more. But it’s a good start! I also used CTMH’s Splash of Color and Stargazer for the birthday sentiment.
