CTMH Easter Basket | handmade Easter jar treat

This month’s theme and monthly prize

Anything Goes + a stamp

April 1 – 8

Out like a lion and in like a lamb (at least in some parts of the country!  My parents were surprised by 8 inches of snow on Saturday…) I am ready for April and a new month of our Anything Goes heARTful stamping challenge!  We’re a great place to get and share some card making ideas for your rubber stamped cards.

If this is your first visit here, there are normally weekly Top 3 winners and a random winner from all of the participants receives the monthly prize drawing.   March’s prize winner will be announced tomorrow and they will receive this sweet Easter basket stamp from CTMH – it’s so fun to color and will be perfect for next year.  (If you can wait that long to play with it!)

This Week’s Inspiration

Here’s my entry for this week’s challenge plus a Happy Easter wish to everyone!  I was inspired by Carrie Simonds who created a much more elegant version of this.  I stamped my image on watercolor paper and used an aqua brush and Tombow markers – it was super quick and easy!

Cyndi combined CTMH’s Spring Break and one of her favorites, Easter Animals.  I don’t know if she did it on purpose – but I love the sentiment combined with the cracked egg (“break” – get it?!) and the cute little chick. The beautiful butterfly is from CTMH’s Chelsea Gardens for cardmaking. This is retired paper from CTMH that finishes the spring look.  Love how many details Cyndi has in this card!

Juliet came to my card workshop this week and wowed me with her take on my Bendi (or do you spell it Bendy?! I’ve seen it both ways!) card.  I asked her if I could share it with you.  The card uses CTMH’s Birthday Sprinkles, Chelsea Gardens paper and the Chelsea Gardens cardmaking stamp set.  But the doodling?  That’s ALL Juliet – it’s her signature style and I love it!  It really ups the “wow” factor on any card. I also love her coloring…

Thank you for another fun challenge. My March was completely crazy and I don’t think I managed to get even one card entered in your challenges. Hoping to play along more in April! 🙂
