heARTful stamping challenge – anything goes!

This month’s theme and monthly prize

Anything Goes + a stamp

 May 13 – 20

Wishing those of you who are Mothers (aunts, godmothers and grandma’s too!) a very Happy Mother’s Day.

I hope you will join us for  this week’s Anything Goes heARTful stamping challenge!  We’re a great place to get and share some card making ideas for your rubber stamped cards.

If this is your first visit here, there are normally weekly Top 3 winners and a random winner from all of the participants receives the monthly prize drawing.  I just returned from my daughter’s college graduation and still need to pick out May’s prize.  It was a whirlwind weekend and ended up with us driving home with a full mattress strapped to the top of our car – only to hit rain in the last 30 minutes of the trip.  Sigh…crossing my fingers it will dry quickly!

This Week’s Inspiration

Cyndi is really was thinking out of the box – or should I say, out of the basket!! – this weekend.  She took CTMH’s Easter Basket stamp set and then fussy cut a ton of flowers from CTMH’s Chelsea Gardens and put them all together.  Isn’t this a gorgeous Mother’s Day card?  I love it.  Sadly Cyndi lost her Mother this past year and I know she must have been thinking of her as she created this lovely card.  Hugs!

I combined CTMH’s new Beautiful Friendship (for cardmaking) stamp set with the Beautiful Friendship paper pack.  I bought the matching thin cut dies and it makes it so easy to just stamp this sweet little tea cup on a scrap of paper and then cut it out.  Isn’t that a fun look?  I also use a $2.95 CTMH sentiment (they have an assortment of these – such a great value!) called Thinking of You.
