National Coffee Day blog hop

Welcome to the National Coffee Day celebration!! You should be arriving from Angie Blom’s Digital Designs if you are hopping in order. I don’t know about you but I “run” on coffee and I’m grateful for all of Amy Tsuruta’s hard work putting together this blog hop. This event is a little different than the Winter|Fall and Spring|Summer hops…but the good news is that there are still lots of PRIZES! In fact, I’m one of the Super Sponsors and this my prize package — Close To My Heart’s Pumpkin Treats stamp and thin cut die set. It’s perfect for fall!

Z4322 Pumpkin Treats Stamp and Thin Cut die

I couldn’t resist creating a few cards to share with you. You can see that I am embracing the fall colors!

My first card features Pumpkin Treats and some retired Close To My Heart fall patterned papers. If you are looking for fall papers, CTMH has a lovely packet called — Pumpkin Spice. I love how they coordinate their stamps and papers. I’m really digging their Sep-Oct Mix-in Paper packet too! But, I digress… I gold embossed my image and used Copic markers. The panel is die cut using CTMH’s Stitched Rectangle Frames thin cut dies and the sentiment is from Right At Home’s How Have You Bean? stamp. I won it in a previous blog hop years ago and it’s perfect for me as a Kindergarten Assistant Instructor. Gold Embellishing Thread is always the perfect finish and Close To My Heart carries it in gold and silver. LOVE!

If you are a pumpkin spice fan, then the first day it’s released each year may be the “best day ever!” I had so much fun putting this card together. Do you have a box of left over die cuts or stamped images? I hate to throw things out. These leaves are from a project I made at least three years ago, hmmm….maybe 4. If you are a Cricut Access member you might not realize it but you can access older CTMH images. It’s pretty amazing. Here I used some more retired fall paper and paired it with a bit of CTMH Wood Grain paper. Oh, and this mug is part of the Close To My Heart Pumpkin Spice stamp set that is my Super Sponsor prize…so head on over and leave a comment at the Coffee Lover Cardmaking blog for a chance to win it. I love the soft pink tones Amy used for her Pumpkin Spice card!

Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to leave a comment — if I get 100 comments then I’ll be giving away ONE MORE Pumpkin Spice stamp and thin cut die set to one lucky winner. Next stop on the NCD blog hop is: Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps. I can’t wait to check them out!

Follow me on Instagram for an extra chance to win! Let me know there if you follow me and that counts too… I know it’s where I get much of my inspiration. Happy National Coffee Day! sip, sip, sip….
