CTMH Message In a Bottle & In Full Bloom

I am constantly inspired by our Japanese Close To My Heart makers — their creations blow me away! I bookmarked some sweet tags that Masumi (IG @masuchan111) created using CTMH’s April SOTM Message In a Bottle and their In Full Bloom cardmaking stamp set. This card is the results of springboarding from her ideas. I love the background paper I created! Here I placed 3 of the sentiments from the stamp set tightly on one block and then just repeatedly stamped it in black. Quick and easy! By having the sentiments relatively even all around, the placement was not at all fiddly. I also used CTMH’s Stitched Fancy Brackets thin cut dies. You can see that I embossed one layer with CTMH’s Spring Blossoms embossing folder. It probably wasn’t necessary but I had hoped it would add a little something to the layers…perhaps if I had “embossed” and not “debossed” it would look better! ha ha…

I watercolored assorted blooms from the In Full Bloom cardmaking stamp set and then fussy cut them out. This is another great way to use up a panel if you have an “oops”!
