How often do you dig, dig, dig into your stamp stash and pull out an older stamp set? I don’t do it often enough, but I love when I have the chance to mix old and new products. First, you may too still have the “old” set I’m using, or it encourages you to look through your things and find something that “works”. Today’s card uses new Close To My Heart paper, last year’s stamp set Florals & Flutters (which is still available Online – it has a with or without thin cut dies option) and a really OLD CTMH set, From the Heart for the sentiment. I just love the large size of it and the mixing of fonts.
The best part of this card? I used some CTMH Avocado ink on the leaves and stamped the moth in Intense Black ink. I used a bit of Glacier ink and a water brush to add some light color to the moth. The Stitched Fancy Brackets are also still available online at Close To My Heart and I love that you have two sizes that can stand alone or nest together nicely.
