This latest Close To My Heart stamp of the month is splendid. I love the leaves and sentiments in Enjoy These Moments but, most of all, I love this heart image! I had so much fun coloring in each piece of foliage with Tombow markers and a waterbrush. It was quick and easy, and I think the end results look pretty darn good! Can I say that?!
More About My Card
Have you seen the new Stitched Card Front & Background thin cuts from CTMH? This die cut beautifully for me, but I had seen a card from South Wales CTMH Maker @maz.ctmh where her’s hadn’t. Of course, I had to try and purposefully recreate the look. This shows you never throw away anything — just swipe on some gold embossing powder and heat it up! Voila! Instant gorgeousness. It was the perfect back drop for my watercolored heart. I brought in some of the purple Tombow marker over the sentiment and also used it for my card base. I’m normally not a purple fan but I love how soft and pretty this combo is.
