I haven’t been sharing all of the cards I’ve made using Close To My Heart’s National Stamping Month promotion. So many stamps, so little time! These are two baby cards I made for teachers at school last week – one for a baby boy and one for a baby girl. Actually, this first card was celebrating my teacher’s official adoption day — yeah, I was really late getting a gift and making a card. I think the new Floating By bundle was perfect! These little critters are adorable! There is also a nice variety of sentiments to go inside that large balloon. I am loving the Cloud Background thin cut die as well, and when you buy the bundle, you also get the cloud stencil!
For this next card that’s what I used…the cloud stencil! I just dabbed White Daisy ink through the openings and then heat embossed it with White powder. Such a fun look. I did die a cut an extra cloud using the background die for the yellow gingham cloud. I had to tie in the yellow moon somehow and I know technically it wouldn’t be a cloudy sky with a moon, but I just loved the look. Hey, we are allowed some creative license when cardmaking, right?!? tee hee…
