CTMH Springtime Borders

This card is so bright and cheerful! I was inspired by a scrapbook page created by Close To My Heart Maker, Lori Scott. I have a “zillion” narrow strips of left-over watercolor paper that I never know what to do with. This technique using CTMH’s Springtime Borders was perfect!

First, I wet and watercolored different widths of watercolor paper. Next, I used a heat gun to dry them a bit more quickly. I found some CTMH inks in similar colors to the watercolor paints I used. Then I went digging through my patterned paper scraps. So fun and the possibilities are endless! The sentiment is from CTMH’s In Full Bloom Cardmaking set and the butterfly is retired.
