My husband and I were invited to a fabulous graduation / commissioning celebration at the Army Navy Club in Washington DC last night. So, of course, that event called for a card! I don’t make a lot of slim line cards but the width matched my Close To My Heart Sentiments by Melissa Esplin stamp set perfectly. This set is now retired. I die cut the numbers from an a|s die set I had but felt the card needed something extra when I was finished. Obviously, I hadn’t stamped each word perfectly so ….. I grabbed my CTMH Star Shaker Window thin cut die and used some of the little “shaker” stars to fill in around the edges. It turned out perfectly! I really like when I can use a die for more than it’s intended purpose and I hope this inspires you!
