CTMH Dream Maker Wedding

I have had Close To My Heart’s Dream Maker promotion bundle sitting for TWO WEEKS just waiting to be inked up and played with…and finally it happened! Since I am in charge of our school’s Social Committee, I have the opportunity to make cards for special occasions. And I just found out that one of our teachers is getting married next week. Dream Maker was the perfect starting point.

More About My Card

For my card base I grabbed a piece of the Mix-In Paper pack from this catalog cycle. The patterns are gorgeous by themselves, but I decided to overstamp some “wedding” type sentiments along the side with Mink ink. Next, I used the Dream Maker stencil that is in the kit, but you can also buy it individually – it’s 12 x 12 and only $4.95! I sponged Versamark ink through the leaf stencils and then embossed them with Princess Gold embossing powder. They were so easy to fussy cut. I stamped the smaller flower from the Dream Maker set onto Ballerina pink cardstock and then overstamped it with some of the “distress” stamps in that set as well. The sentiment die cut is from CTMH’s Joyful Sunflowers stamp and thin cut die set. I also used some Ballerina ink to overstamp it. The Happily Ever After is retired a|s. To make it all pop I ran a black marker around the green cardstock and the focal die cut. It was so easy to add the little bit of black without adding layers.
