This sadly will be my last Super Sponsorship as a Close To My Heart Maker (aka consultant). You may have heard that Jeanette has decided to close the business. I’m so sad! I’m grateful to Amy Tsuruta’s dedication to this group and the hops. You will see me continuing to create with my great collection of coffee stamps! Even now I love to mix stamps from different companies…so I look forward to what awaits me.
My Card for the hop…
I had so much fun creating this card with one of Close To My Heart’s newest set of “hand” stamps. This is called Hand Heart and even though I always flash this to my Kindergartners, it applies equally to my mug of coffee! The paper is retired CTMH, Life’s a Hoot as is the stitched square die. I do love CTMH’s Kraft paper. It’s thinner than their normal cardstock and not white core, but it’s a great color (darker in photo for some reason). It’s not on sale like ALL of our other papers during the Cardstock Carnival — but if you like 12 x 12 white core paper, check it out! I also used a cute 4 x 4 Stripe embossing folder for my to-go cup. It looked a little plain at first. So, I inked it up for a tone on tone look and sent it through my Vagabond. Perfect! I embossed the lid in clear ink on patterned paper for a perfect match. Love that detail in real life. My sentiment is from amuse | studio.
