Pinch me! I was so excited to be invited as a guest to the first Crafty Elves post of 2023! What a great way to start of the year and it takes my birthday month over the top. woo hoo. The Crafty Elves post each month getting their holiday cards put together in a relaxing pace — avoiding the last minute stress and overwhelm!
I turned to Close To My Heart’s January stamp of the month, Frosty Days for the main feature of my card. I’ve been on a paper piecing kick, and I feel like for this card, I just kept piling things on! So, fun to create. This big sentiment is from CTMH’s Wonderland – Scrapbooking stamp set and matching thincut die. This stamp set is from last year but I’m excited to tell you that it is still available. I thought this saying was perfect for the mug in the bear’s paw. I actually cut off the mug from the original — it’s fun to tweak images to make them work for you.

Wonderful paper piecing and combining of sentiment with the cttitters stamps. Here in N TX if is definitely a hot choc day with temps in 30s-40s, rain, sleet (there was possibility of snow but did not happen here).
